RCA  26'' LCD HDTV/DVD Combo 26LB30RQD  ENERGY STAR®

I bought this tv 2 days ago to find out that the dvd part of the tv was defective. We returned the tv for another one and this time the buttons on the side of the tv were not working at all. Now I need to return this tv and at this point I don't even want to deal with getting another RCA tv. I'm very disapointed with this purchase.

This size of this TV is perfect for my kitchen. It replaced a combo vcr/dvd 25 inch tube tv. I love the size and the picture

Dead pixels on the TV screen and was unable to return it. Very dissatisified with this purchase. I expected more from RCA.

The picture and sound are great. Just the size I needed for my TV nook. Better still, I used Mygofer and just went to the Layaway and picked it up!

It took forever to make a decision on which kind, what brand and where, not to mention finding one reasonably priced with a DVD. I love my flat screen!

I bought it to replace a 19" tube TV in my bedroom. It's adequate for that purpose although the picture is not as clear as I hoped and I can't quite get it right though the various menu controls. The built in DVD player enabled me to get rid of my other DVD player, which gave me extra shelf space. I have not yet tried the DVD player. There were several screws missing from the parts package to attach the stand to the TV, and despite my efforts, I couldn't find another screw to match, so I am a little concerned about the stability with only two screws (instead of four) holding the TV on the stand. I also have been unable to eliminate the use of two remote controls even though I followed all the instructions for setting it up. I can't turn the TV on and off or change the volume through the satellite remote, like I used to with the other TV. So I need two remote controls to operate the TV. That's a drag.

Came in a decent amount of time. Easy to install. Picture and sound good. Easy to set up cc, etc.

Pro's: The picture is great and the price is right. Con's: 1) I have it hung rather high on a wall and the wall bracket won't allow the TV to tilt down far enough to provide a good viewing angle so the picture is a little dark. While this is more a wall bracket issue than a TV issue, keep this in mind if you want to hang it high. This obviously won't be a problem if you have the TV on a floor stand. 2) If you put in a DVD, the input automatically changes to DVD mode, which is great. However, when you eject the DVD, the input should change back to TV mode. It doesn't, this is a nuisance. 3) A DVD won't eject unless you are in the DVD mode. So if you finish watching a DVD and change the input back to TV, you will have to change back to DVD mode later to remove the disc. What is the point of this? The eject button should work regardless of which mode the unit is in. Minor issues that wouldn't prevent me from purchasing again. But, a little more forethought and this TV is 5 stars.

I bought this for my grandchildren's room to go with their Wii So far so good
