GREAT TV at a decent price
I purchased this TV when my prior one didn't work anymore. I was going to wait until the holiday specials started but since it was on sale for $299.00 I figured it wasn't a bad investment for a 39" TV. It has an awesome picture quality and good color. The only drawback is the sound quality which I took care of by hooking up my Advent wireless speakers. Overall it was a really good buy and I don't think anyone can go wrong by getting this especially if you can get it on sale. Kmart even gave me a gift card for some reason when I purchased it-Sweet! Easy hook up and instructions and was watching it within 10 mins out of the box.

My father needed a new set, his old tv was going and I convinced them to buy it based on the price $298 and Brand. On the face of it this is a good deal but it's a no frills tv. No apps minimal inputs (composite and component are shared not separate). This was fine as my parents are elderly and buttons and gadgets confuse them. All they needed was a cable jack and 1 extra input for a dvd player. So I thought this TV was perfect. After I set this up I discovered that it has no audio out jacks other than for headphones and digital audio......my father is hearing impaired and uses a wireless headset that you see say at the movies and they connect to the tv with the standard red/white RCA jacks which this tv does not have. I've never seen a tv with no audio outputs and we don't have the money to invest in a digital receiver to connect his hearing aid too so this tv may be going back. So just be warned that if you are hearing impaired and use headsets you'll be out of luck.

Clear & Crisp Picture

First off, it was a breeze ordering online with Kmart. I got the television the *next day* at a price I felt was reasonable. The packaging was easy to maneuver and set up was very simple. All of the plugs are accessible without twisting cables or driving you nuts. The picture is clear and the color bright. If you're hard of hearing this TV won't disappoint. My entire experience from returning the first TV to setting this one up was flawless.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

This is a fantastic tv. It has excellent picture quality and is a great size for gaming as well as movie time and favorite tv show viewing. The information that accompanies the product makes it a breeze to program. Just loving it in our house!

I PURCHASED THIS ITEM BECAUSE I ACCIDENTLY DAMAGED MY 5 YR OLD 32" LCD HDTV, THAT I PAID OVER $1200 FOR. I WAS VERY UPSET TO SAY THE LEAST. THEN I SAW THIS RCA 39" LCD HDTV ADVERTISED FOR UNDER $340 AND COULDN'T BELIEVE IT. I PURCHASED IT AND THE PICTURE AND COLOR IS FAR MORE SUPERIOR THAN MY OLD T.V. I WAS AND AM THRILLED. IF YOU WANT A TV THAT IS QUALITY WITHOUT SPENDING A FORTUNE, THIS IS THE TV TO BUY!!!
