LOVE THIS COFFEE MAKER!!! January 17, 2009
I bought this for my husband for christmas on sale from Kmart online plus free shipping and am so in love with this coffee maker. We've been using it for about 2 months now and no issues! Its so easy to set up for coffee in the morning and just as easy to take apart and clean. I really enjoy that fact that you dont need to do any pouring, just push your mug up against the button and fresh coffee comes pouring down in a zip!Great product for the money, will buy another one once this one is gone.

SOME GOOD, MOSTLY A SAFETY HAZARD February 18, 2011
We wanted a small brewer for two people that made tasty coffee. The coffee tastes good and that's about where it ends. The unit stands about as tall as some 10-cup makers on the market. Don't know why this 6-cup unit is so tall. We had to press a cup against the dispenser lever with some force to get coffee to pour which made the unit slide backwards on the counter - so, to hold down the unit from sliding, we got burned from the steam vent on top. Nothing about this in the manual. The manual also doesn't explain about the brewing lever over the coffee basket. Who are the people that write manuals anyway? Then there were the big puddles of water behind and under the unit. We found that after you add water to the fill line and move the unit slightly, water sloshes out the back two holes and leaks down to the electrical wiring below (safety hazard design flaw IMO). After figuring this out, there were still puddles under the unit after brewing. We found that when you open the lid for cleaning, condensation drips down the back of the unit again down to the wiring below. Sometimes there is dripping from the FRONT of the basket assembly. I am so tired of mopping up my counter top and risking electrocution from all the wet wiring that we are looking for another safer brand of coffeemaker.

Pros:
Great tasting coffee,Stylish design,No coffee pot to wash,Coffee never tastes burntI have owned this Hamilton Beach Brew Station Coffeemaker for a few months. I'll never go back to a coffeemaker with a traditional burner and pot. This product brews great coffee. The coffee it dispenses never comes out with that yucky burnt coffee taste after it has been brewed for awhile.
The design of this maker is very stylish and fits in well with any kitchen style.
It's wonderful to always know your next cup will taste like your first cup!

I bought this coffee maker as a Christmas gift for my son who is in the Air Force and will be deploying to Afghanistan on Feb. 9th. He is a avid coffee drinker, has a larger Hamilton Beach Brewmaster that he really likes but his space will be very limited where he is going so I shopped for something smaller and more compact and a brand name that can be trusted. Christmas Day he made a pot of coffee to make sure it works fine before leaving the US. So K-Mart and Hamilton Beach will be going to Afganistan in February.
