    good blender at a good price September 26, 2010

    I have one and it works like it should. Basic, push button features. I guess Oster never really had to change it too much. The difference is the materials nowadays are probably not as good as they used to be, but it works just the same.It could have a little more power,but for the stuff I do (veggie and fruit drinks) it works just fine.

    Bought this blender a year ago have used it daily to make smoothies and protein shakes, it has never been very good about chopping the ice and we always have cube parts left in the drinks.  So not an awesome blender, but it is out first and we have learned from this about what more to look for in a blender.

    Yes, for the most part this is a pretty good blender. It is simple and straight forward and does a great job of blending most items.

    Ice is the one thing that this blender struggles with. I mean it does crush it, but it usually leaves a few decent sized chunks. Besides that for the money this blender is Great!

    Oster is a reliable brand for a blender. My grandma and mom hand one growing up so i bought mine recenty too. I am very satisfied with my 12 speed model. it has a strong glass cup and tightly sealing lid. the base is wide and sturdy and i was surprised how strong the motor was and was not as high pitched sounding as i was expecting. it's not quiet but it is a great blender.
