so far so good just starting using it a few days ago. but seems good all jars and bottle were intact when i got them picked up and dilvered .... i am going to purchase the pint size i got the quart.

We ordered a bunch of of these on sale for two families to share. Several cases arrived with one or more broken jars, many of the rings were dented on jars in the other cases, and almost all the glass is scratched from friction. Overall, less than 50% are undamaged. I hope my local Kmart will exchange or return them.

These jars are well made, we have used them jars for years with great success and Super K always has them in stock and at the best price..

These jars are great for everyday use or filling with Christmas goodies. Thick Glass.

Kmart had the best price for these jars. They are good quality items and are still made in the USA, which is very important to me. I subtracted one star because I had opted for home delivery (due to no local Kmart) and a third of my order was received broken. Whoever packed the shipment of 6 cases of varied sizes, put them all in one large, flimsy, cardboard box filled with loose packing peanuts and no "fragile" markings were added to the exterior. This was shipped directly from the distributor, so, I don't blame Kmart. I actually made the trip to return the damaged items just on principle. It probably cost me more in gas than the credit was worth. But the young lady was very pleasant and accepted the return without a hassle and, oddly enough, that made me feel better. In closing, BUY THESE JARS, THEY'RE SIMPLY A MUST HAVE FOR ANY CANNING JOB. JUST THINK TWICE BEFORE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE $1 SHIPPING.

I can a lot, and have a good variety of both regular mouth and wide mouth jars.  Wide mouth jars are more expensive than regular mouth, but they are easier to use.  It is simple to fill them with food without too much hassle and without making a mess.  Ball brand jars are great--mine have held up well.

We make our own sauces at home as well as some jams and jellies.  I didn't even know Kmart carried these.  What can I say, they are the standard mason jars we grew up having.  They keep all your foods well contained so they can be stored for quite some time.
