Pyrex 8 Piece Glass Bowl Storage Set With Covers, this set is very useful in everyday use. I use them for storage and use them at the supper table with our big meals. Perfect sizes, I do not mix in these bowls, because I don't want the mixer to scratch them up. I find them to be one of the most useful of my bowls. I am definately with another persons review about reheating in the microwave. I too try to stay away from plastic.

Pyrex glass bowls are used in my kitchen everyday.

Pyrex Bowls Perfect for Serving and Storing!
These are one of the most-frequently used items in our kitchen! They're wonderful as mixing bowls, safe in microwave and dishwasher, can be used to serve everything from dip to potato salad to popcorn, and best of all when you're done using them, you just pop on the lid and stick it in the refrigerator! Great for things like cookie dough where you need to mix and then refrigerate. They're very heavy glass and I'm sure that they would break if dropped, but we're pretty hard on them and they've stood up to the test. Highly recommend.
