Simple and effective! August 02, 2010
This is te first dehumidifier we have ever used and we are very pleased with it. We bougta home with a moisture problem in the basement. The musty sell was strong, and there was obvious moisture. Within 36 hours of turning on the dehumidifier we could tell a huge difference! The smell was much less, and the feel of the air was drastically differet. After 72 hours it was even more so.
It is simple to use, easy to empty and keep clean. It has an automatic shut off, andis no louder than a 16" fan when it is running full bore. It is also energy star compliant, so there is a little benefit that way as well. It is fairly light, it is on wheels so moving it is easy, and the cord is long enough t give you some flexibility in locating it.

Not the best dehumidifier for this price. May 04, 2010
We had this dehumidifier for a little over a year. It worked great while it worked. But one day it started leaking water. We gave it one more chance after this, but within a week it started leaking again. Now I'm looking for a new one, and will be looking for a different brand this time. There are many in this price range with better reviews than this one has. Wish I would have researched it a little more the first time...

Kenmore dehumidifier works wonderfully April 29, 2011
We have had this unit for three years now, in our basement, and it has worked wonderfully. I would definitely recommend this unit for anyone that is looking to purchase a dehumidifier.
