Assembled as workbench... January 22, 2009
The tabs are even easier to work with than the already far from difficult nut and bolt system on other Geelong shelves. Just press the tabs into the bracket and use a mallet to tap them down all the way. The shelves actually assemble as two separate workbenches. They can be pushed together if desired, but it's not necessary. After assembly I loaded the shelves with a toolbox, parts boxes, and a motorcycle engine and crankcase. Seems sturdy enough to be able to hold all this so easily.

5 shelf storage system September 25, 2007
I purchased this item today, thinking it was a diff. brand that I had purchased at KMart a couple years ago. Unlike that brand, this one did NOT assemble easily. The tabs that insert into the slots bend very easily and are VERY difficult to tap into place & have them come out in the correct location. They bend; sometimes they come out the sides & have to be redone, usually many times. The overall quality is flimsy. If I didn't have to drive an hour & lug this heavy box/item, I'd have returned it. I've put together others like this, easily, but this brought out the worst in me. I strongly do NOT recommend it. I strongly regret buying it.
