I bought this 2 years ago and love it. It is the best thing I ever purchased. At first my husband thought it was crazy but when he tasted the difference in the water, it's all he uses now. The filters last awhile I fill at least 5-7 bottles a day please other water for dog and it lasts very close to 3 months. I recommend it to everyone. No need to go out and buy plastic bottles, help save the environment.

My husband purchased this unit on a whim and surprised me with this Brita faucet filter. He is NOT a particularly handy kinda man, but he installed the filter with no problems or leakage. Our first reaction to the filtered water was - WOW, it tastes SO GOOD! We have community well water, and combined with questionable pipes throughout the house, each faucet in our house has a different smell and taste to it. We are now able to save LOTS of money by bottling our own water from the tap, and feel good about what we drink and saving the environment from all those plastic bottles. I love the ease of switching from "filtered" to "non-filtered stream" to "non-filtered spray" at the flip of a lever. The unit itself is surprisingly unobstrusive and we've had no problems w/ it ever "getting in the way" of anything I'm doing. We have been using our unit for over 3 months, and the filter indicator light has just gone from green to yellow, so we are very pleased with its capacity. Our family of 3 drinks from it every day, as well as 2 pets. It took some getting used to the lower water pressure, but it was not a difficult transition and I am still able to everything as usual at the kitchen sink. (Perhaps there is even a savings in water consumption?) We recommended this to our in-laws, and theirs apparently needed some sort of thread adapter to fit their (older) sink. Otherwise, based on ease of set-up, use, cost, and most importantly TASTE of water, we HIGHLY recommend this filter!

Take a close look at the picture. See the little dial on the right that turns the filter on and off? It's really hard to turn. Now imagine trying to turn that with wet hands. We've had this one for about a year now and I hate it. We are buying a Pur faucet filter when we run out of filters for this because it's obvious Brita put no development or testing into their design whatsoever before putting this on the market.
