Motivating

Seeing my goal weight in view, or the numbers creeping up/down, keep me motivated. I also like seeing if I've lost a half pound, or seem to be inching up. And I like that I can tell if the calibration is off by being able to zero it, then easily correct. Can't do any of those with a digital, plus the digitals seem to malfunction much sooner. (My analog has lasted 30 years, while my digital lasted less than five) and need batteries; so annoying to hunt for batteries first thing in the morning when you just want to weigh yourself. I can't speak to the other reviewer because my friends have been instructed to bring me out to the back 40 to shoot me if I ever get up to 250 lbs, give or take 20lbs--not quite sure how he/she would know it's off, as whatever comparison scale, including those at doctor's offices, need periodic calibrating. Not sure how you can ever be sure a ditigital is calibrated correctly.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
