Mattel  Blokus® Classic Game

This is a great game to play with young children. Our 3 kids are currently aged between 7 and 10 and we're having lots of laughs. Great game to encourage critical thinking!

It was delivered promptly, in perfect condition. It is much better quality than I expected. It has a lot of pieces and they were all in order, well packed with zip lock type bags for storage, in a good box that should last with normal usage. It's not like any other game I've ever seen -- most children's games I see are just another version of old games. I highly recommend Blokus!

Blokus is an easy to play, but not so easy to win game for four players! Our family of four enjoys it and we love the feel of the plastic pieces. We have also played this with non-English speakers since no reading is involved and it worked great. The only drawback is that it isn't quite a fun to play with 2 or 3 players -- 4 really is the best.

Our friends introduced us to this game on a camping trip last summer.  It plays best with 4 players.  What a hoot we had.  The game mechnics are simple to learn, but ho boy the strategy aspect is fun.  Pull this game out for family night or a night with friends over a few drinks.  You won't be dissapointed.

This is a very fun game that can keep the whole family or a group of friends entertained.

We absolutely love this game. We constantly play this game with our older kids (10 and up) You can play 4 players or less. Very addictive, puzzle type game. Love that it gets the kids strategizing and using their heads!!

I never played this game before buying it.  I thought it would be a fun game that my wife would enjoy.  Not only is it a fun game for her, but everyone else we've introduced to it.  I recommend this game.

It's not as fun to play with two players as with four, although the game can be played with only two.  If you have two players you each play with two colors, and with four you play with only one color. 

The general gameplay goes like this: you stack your peices starting from your corner and you build off the corners of your same colored peices each round.  You attempt to place all your peices on the board without being blocked by the other players.  When you can't place any more of your peices down, you are done and you count your blocks up and the player with the least amount of blocks left wins.

I originally bought this game for my brother's birthday.  Hadn't much more than heard of it before that.  We immediately broke it open and played it.  It took 2 minutes to figure out the rules.  What a fun game of strategy!  It never gets boring, and anyone can learn to play quickly.  I would compare it to a 3-D tetris.

Blokus is such a fun game.  We saw it at KMart and just decided to try it.  My family and I play it at least a couple of times a week.  It's a great way to bring the family together.
