Overall
this is a poor quality table
We bought this table in November 2009. At first we were very pleased with the design and the quality of the table. Over the months the extentions started to deform, and now does not fit the table anymore. A local furniture maker advised that the deformation was due to the wood not being dry when the table was produced. Overtime the wood had dryed and deformed, which had caused for the extension to not fit. When contacted Sears sent us back to the manufacturer, who sent us back to sears. After long discussions, no one is feeling responsible for this faulty table. Sears answer is that the warranty was expired and that the manfacturer is responsible. The manufacturer (China) does not feel responsible as well. Neither Sears nor the manufaturer offered any solutions. I would never buy this table again, and I will actually never trust Sears for any further purchases.
