Incredible android device for a super price!

When I first heard about this device, I thought it was too good to be true.  Turns out the device is for real.  The amount of applications available is insane and many are free.  I like the fact that it has a real tactile keyboard.  Very impressive to show friends.

      Excellent product and great value.

If you're not a Facebook game player, this netbook will probably do everything you need and then some. The processor is faster than you'd think, but still slower than the Intel Atom processors currently in other netbooks. I was able to connect to my Belkin Wi-Fi router out of the box, so I'm not sure what the other reviewer's problems were. Perhaps they've been fixed.

The thing I appreciate most about this netbook, besides the price, is that the operating system is far more malware-free than any of the Windows variants on the market today. That gives me piece of mind when websurfing. Even when deliberately visiting sites known to host malware, my netbook seems immune to them, as a quick virus check and rootkit check shows.

I wish that Flash were better supported, since I do play Flash-based games. Youtube videos are supported; Dailymotion is not.

Office suite software works well. Downloading other apps is as easy as it is from Apple's App store.

It's a terrific value: you usually find features in this netbook on products costing $300 or more.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

The Augen 10.2 Netbook is a horrible device

I bought this for my kitchen in hopes to access recipes for cooking. i couldn't get it to connect to the wireless internet. when i asked for help in customer service they told me i must have the wrong key for the router.(i have 4 other devices ran off the router). Then i talked to someone else and they told me they were aware of the problem and it would be fixed in a week. It should of never been put out and listed as a wifi device if they were still ironing out the bugs. I brought the stupid thing back to the store. I got a emachine netbook for $20 more and love it.

      Stay away!!

This seemed like the ideal little tool to have while on my travels. Music and video playback. ibook friendly and the capability to browse the web without having an expensive cell phone service or Apple device.

TROUBLE is if you can't connect to a network, wireless or wired you have a lump of plastic with keys on it!

Having spent the last two hours trying to connect the darned thing, only for it to be in and out like a fiddlers elbow defies the point. This will go back to the store tomorrow and maybe I'll spend an extra hundred dollars and buy the real deal.

Nice concept - Poor execution - Tech support operates bankers hours too!
