Hamilton Beach Turbo-Twister works like a blender.

When the Mrs. picked up this neat little gadget, I thought she had aquired a passion for bartending. Little did I know, she wanted something that works like a blender...to replace our clunky blender that never seems to work. So far so good. She whips up all kinds of dinner sides with this. Like broccoli and mashed potatoes together. Lental soups and even homemade salsas. I guess you could say I'm a fan. Clean up is easy enough and it doesn't take up too much space either. Only negative which other reviews have already mentioned is that the rubber button can be sometimes tempermental. In other words, you may have to press several times to get it to turn on. That is kind of annoying although it doesn't seem to bother her much. Overall, for the price and its' multi-functionality, I would recommend it.

2 speed hand blender
Got this pretty quick in the mail. Had one for a long time but it didn't detach from the end of the base and have a wisk to attach it. This really isn't something I would buy again. I use it and I make sure it is snapped into place. But if your trying to blend something thick, then forget it. It will unsnap and fall off. Caused a big mess for me right in the middle of trying to make thanksgiving dinner. I would think twice about buying this hand blender. For the price it was good but for the performance, pretty bad.

Nice!

I've always wanted a hand blender, and I finally got this one. I love it. I don't know why it took me so long. This thing is amazing. It works great for making soups and sauces. Not need to wait for the food to cool down in order to blend it. I also don't have as many dishes to wash as I used to.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Its very nice, sturdy and easy to clean

We got this a few months back. At the time we were confused between this and black and decker hand blender. I am glad that we went with this one. Very easy to use, clean and sturdy construcion. Whisker attachment comes in handy for things like cake mix. The only thing I dont like is the rubber switch that turns the blender on - sometimes I have to press really hard to use the blender. I would definitely recommend this.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

I liked this unit

I used this model several years ago for about a year with gentle use and sadly dropped it on the floor.  The attachment cracked and couldn't be used anymore.  I've since bought 2 Oster brand units that were junk.  The attachment cracked at the neck of the units within months.  Oster replaced one for me which also cracked within months.  I'm thinking all stick blenders are junk, but this HB I was at least satisfied it worked for over a year, although I've read others weren't as fortunate as me.  I'm going back to get this one for the price.  If it breaks, go get another one for $20, rather than wasting $50 on another brand that is most likely going to break within a year.  I wish they could come up with models that weren't plastic.  Doesn't make any sense to use such a fragile material.

great kitchen tool

I purchased this product a couple of months ago, and I'm very satisfied. Very nice tool to make sauces and soups. I use it to make thick creamy vegetable soups. I was surprised how quiet it works. Was expecting it to be very noicy, but thats not the case.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
