    Love the Shark Bagless Pet Care Vacuum!! March 20, 2011

    This is the best vacuum we have ever owned! We love our pets, but not all the hair they leave on the floor and furniture. All of the vacuums we have tried left hair behind...until we found the Shark! It is great on carpet and on bare floors. It also has a great attachment to get all of the pet hair off of your furniture. It is a very light vacuum and easy to empty. It does lose suction , but only when the canister needs to be emptied. Empty the canister and you are good to go again. I highly recommend this vacuum to all the pet lovers out there! We have had this vacuum for several years and it still works great. We found that if you clean it out regularly, including rinsing out all of the filters and letting them air dry it will last and last.

    Do not buy this February 07, 2011

    I bought this vacuum and after only a few months it is broken. I even bought the "smart plan" with this product. Although I was told that they would replace the product if it stopped working, they denied my claim. They told me I would have to mail it into the manufacturer to have it repaired. Do you know how much it would cost for me to mail a vacuum?? Not worth it. I will never buy from this manufacturer and will never purchase a "smart plan" again!

    After looking at all of the reviews I find I have more in common with the bad reviews. Bought this vacuum December 2010 I believe, maybe 2011 and it just recently decided to stop after 5-10 minutes of use. Other reviewers say it overheats, maybe thats my vacs problem. I thought it was electrical. I just cleaned out a HUGE clog in it about a month or two ago, that took about 3 hours of my time I cant get back. Not easy at all to get to the clog nor actually get it out. I think you can clean the filter as many times as you like but you still need to replace it one day but it turns out they dont sell them anymore. They dont sell any Shark filters or replacement parts at all from what I've found. No place for the pet tool to hook on to either so dont lose it. I found that it has a lot of static and collects my dogs hair on top of the vacuum instead of sucking it underneath. I do love the bagless system, nice and easy to clean the parts cuz you can take it apart, but the clogs are not easy. It never really had a problem sucking til it needed that huge clog to be cleaned out. Not easy to get the lid on and closed tightly so it will continue sucking, but once its on right it will suck. It sucked good and easy to clean the parts. I didnt have a problem having to clean out the clogs every 2-3 weeks (often) or so like other reviews tho. Take care of it as it takes care of you cuz I dont think you can buy it any replacement parts or filters, so be diligent! It obviously worked well for a good year or so, but in the end it went down just like other reviews said theirs did in a shorter amount of time than mine. Probably won't try Shark again.

    I bought this vacuum cleaner for my business since some of my employees bring their dogs into work with them. This vacuum cleaner replaced a high dollar commercial Oreck which was good but could not compete with this vacuum when it came to picking up dog hairs embedded into the carpet. It just a great vacuum cleaner.

    I would definately recommend this product to anyone that has pets! I have three cats and it is a awesome sweeper to own! It is wonderfully easy to operate, being bagless it is very carefree. I love the sleek design and even my cat's don't mind it - it operates with very little noise!

    Got this shark because it says it never looses suction and it works on tile and carpet. The suction was strong and they were right it never lost suction plus the hose thats used to get those corners and hard to reach places worked like a charm.
