Do your research - these are just what I expected!
Satin is a type of weave....not the type of fabric. Nobody got "robbed". Satin is general made from fibres such as silk, nylon, or polyester. It's the weave of these fibres that make it satin. Satin is NOT the fabric itself. Please do some research before posting negative comments.

Price is right but quality is not.
The price was reasonable but the quality was terrible. I'm glad I only bought one pillowcase because it ripped wide open at the seam after less than one week of use. Perhaps I was just unlucky and got a lemon, but I would advise folks to stay away from this product.

This item is called the Satin Nights Satin Pillowcase. I bought two of them. Given that this product uses the word "SATIN" twice in its name, I was more than a little surprised and angry when I discovered that this product is 100% POLYESTER. Are you kidding me? I just got robbed. This item is deliberately misleading as noone would buy a Polyester Nights Polyester Pillowcase except for John Travolta's character in Saturday Night Fever. The salt in the wound is that I had to pay shipping for this garbage. Although I can recoup the price of the product , the shipping ($6.95!!! as much as the crummy product itself!) and my valuable time cannot be refunded.

Kids love them
On an overnight visit (I always take my pillow for overnight stays) my granddaughters fell in love with the soft silkyness of a satin pillow cover. I made it my mission to find some for them. It took a while but I was happy to find them at K-Mart online at a surprisingly low price. The purchase was easy and the cases arrived in no time at all. I washed and ironed them before I took them to my girls. My next visit to the granddaughters was highlighted by gifting the satin pillow cases to them - they will not use the cotton cases again (at least not for a while....). Now I am searching for a baby sized pillow with satin cover because the toddler grandson is also crazy about the feel on his face and fighting his sisters for their pillows. Here I go again on another mission...
