This potty chair is very cute and my son was really excited to give it a try. The recordable sounds is a great feature. However, my 18 month old son is 24lbs and the pot is too small. When he sits he covers the whole pee pot and I have to readjust how my son sits by scooting him all the way against the back rest or he's just sitting on top of the pee guard. It's a cute concept but just does not fit his size.

So i was cluess when it came to potty training my oldest. I knew that he liked anything that made noises so my husband and i decided to try this chair for him and at first was like what in the world, but then he got attached to it and so i came to the conclusion this was one of the best decisions i could have made he actually would tell me when he had to go within the first day of using it. other people told me to let him walk around in the nude and use the big toliet that way he would be used to using the big potty but i did not want to do that so we stuck with this interactive potty and with in about 1 week he was getting up in the middle of the night to use his potty i could not have been happier so i know it was the right chocie. He loves it and i am thankful that we did go with this one. It was good and easy to use and now my son has been potty trained for almost a year and has not had an accident since he was trained unless he was sick but thats a different story. I dont know any child that has not had an accident when they were sick. I am planning on using this potty chair with my youngest chair when he is ready. It made things easier so i couldnt ask for more in a potty chair my youngest already tries to sit on it and act like he is going to the bathroom but i am not ready to try with him he is very stubborn and i know i am gonna have a problem with him but i am hopping that, that potty will make it a little easier you know what i mean. The chair is still in good condition i got it when they first came out. so i know it will hold up. This chair is a very good investment i think i see some of the reviews are not the best for this product but i would recommend it. If anyone asked me I can also say that i enjoyed watching it and having also enjoyed not having to pull my hair out because this potty chair was easy to use. I am sorry if people read my reveiws and think ok she has to have a bad review for something but i cant say that i do. Everything we have bought at our local community kmart i have been very impressed with, but thats because i love kmart i am there just about every night so if you dont believe me feel free to have me take pics and post them up here so that you can see that i do alot of shopping there because i am ver satified with ever product i have evr bought from there thanks for listen. Really enjoyed tell you about it.

My mom and dad bought this potty for my daughter's birthday and it didn't work! There is a thing to record your own reward and even with new batteries it did not work. I exchanged it at K Mart and that one sounded so garbled that i couldn't understand the recording.  I brought it back and got the princess one and it is awesome!
