Don't waste your money!
My daughter had been asking for this item for months now, so for her birthday it was supposed to be a great surprise.
1.) "password" identifier won't do set to anything more than 1 syllable and even then doesn't recognize her voice
2.) After 2 days of use, the door no longer locks and green light stays on, thus no longer functioning.
Definitlely returning this item, my daughter is so heart-broken.

Purchased for granddaughter who couldn't use it at all. She tried everything according to the mfr suggestion. I thought it would be fun for her, but ended up being frustrating and worthless. She YELLED into the book, whispered, etc., nothing worked. Expensive garbage

Girl Tech Password Journal, fun for younger girls 5-12.
I thought this would be a great item for my 6 year old daughter she loves it when it lets her in!!! She set up the password but it is super sensitive and she could never get back into her own diary. I think it is great and she plays with it all the time but can't create a password or she gets locked out herself. No one reads it and she keeps it in a safe place but I really wish they would have created a little less sensitive password process. If you dont use the same exact inflection or if you take a little longer to start talking or if you say the word any different than you did to create it you will not be able to access it.

NEAT PASSWORD JOURNAL
This journal was a great gift to my 8 year old niece. She got it and couldn't put it down. The only problem was that her password stopped working and she got locked out.

Fun idea, lotsa quirks.
The password journal was number one on my daughter's Christmas list this year. She loves that she can write in secret with the invisible ink pen. She likes that it has a Mp3 player hook-up feature. However, it doesn't recognize her voice command to open, we had to open the battery compartment and take out the batteries and replace them many times to reset it. The light also turns off when she is writing in it. Also, it talks at random times, including when you're trying to sleep. Overall she likes it but will have to live with all the quirks.

this is AWESOME
IT is soooo cool it works every time with my password but it doesn't for my brother. the invisible ink works amazingly, my best friend and i spent 2 hours trading secrets on it!!!!! I LOVE THIS THING IT IS THE BEST TOY EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
