    Can't go Wrong with a Proctor Silex Product April 07, 2010

    Loved the knife....everything was so easy to use and clean.  Only bad part was handle got extremely hot after cutting my Easter ham---But still Love it!  Almost every item in my kitchen is from Proctor Silex.  Love their commitment to quality still at an affordable price.

    Won't Cut Hot Butter! March 26, 2012

    A pretty poor knife! I have to hold a lot of pressure to make it cut. I got tired 1/2 way through a small loaf of bread, and switched to my manual serrated bread knife. What an improvement! That's pretty bad. I had an old black and decker, and compared the blades. The B&D had more aggressive serrations. I spent an hour with a dremel tool to make them fit. Works great! Don't buy this one unless you can modify your Black and Decker!

    We just bought a turkey and could not carve it with our regular knife. So we went out and bought the electric knife. Cutting was a breeze. It is so easy to cleanalso. I have found many more uses such as cutting roasts, and especially lamb.

    Works like a dream, easy to cut my bread that I make. Its one that I have always wanted and I had a friend that had one. I saw her using it and knew I had to have it. It was a great deal on the knife. Can't go wrong with shopping on kmart.com

    This electric carving knife has a stainless steel blade with comfort grip handle it also has a convenient power and blade release button,this appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) as a safety feature to reduce the risk of electric shock.You can use a craving board to avoid damage to blade and countertops,as with any sharp knife blades will stratch most surface.You have to gently guide the knife though the food,you dont have to apply excessive sawing or pressure,you can not use this appliance to cut frozen foods,you also have to keep dated sales receipts for warranty service when you clean exterior whipe with damp cloth.This is a very reliable appliance and a good investment.
