    A DEFINITE MUST! November 12, 2007

    Simply put, I cannot imagine mornings without this wonderful machine! With a 6am morning shift, I'd rather sleep the extra time than spend it preparing to make the coffee and then wait on it! With this beloved machine, it's READY FOR ME when I'm ready to get up. It works perfectly and I'm very pleased. I don't know what I'd do without it!

    Don't buy December 18, 2008

    These other reviewers must have been luckier than I with this product. I bout the first one last year for X-Mas. It worked good for about 2 months then it quit brewing, just clear water came out, after restrting a couple of times it would work then just quit altogether. I had purchased the extended warranty so it was returned and I got a new one. This time after a couple of months the timer quit working and then it just quit altogether (again). I went out and bought a different model, have had for several months now without problems.

    Pros:
    easy to use,value for the money,makes hot delicious coffee

    I've had my Proctor Silex coffee maker almost 15 years, making a minimum of two pots a day.  Everyone who visits compliments me on my coffee.  I wasn't especially interested in the clock or automatic features.  What I wanted was a durable coffee maker that would actually make a HOT pot of coffee and this machine certainly did that.  Recently my daughter and husband came to live with me and we were making 5 and 6 pots of coffee daily.  The heating element finally gave out and I plan on replacing the coffee maker with another Proctor Silex ASAP.  Wouldn't want any other brand.

    Pros:
    easy to use,value for the money

    This is a good coffee maker for the price.  I have never had any major problems at all with the machine itself and I LOVE the auto-shut off feature.  My only problem was the lid got a crack in the top - but that hasn't been and issue.  Overall, the design and features are great!  Having coffee ready for you when you wake up is wonderful!!

    easy to use,value for the money

    I bought this coffee maker after the carafe for my old coffee maker broke. It was actually a better deal to get a whole new coffee maker, then to just buy the carafe. I I love that it's programable because I leave for work early and it's nice to wake up and the coffee is made.

    I might never get a new carafe for my old coffee maker, I will just keep using my Proctor Silex. It's fast and easy to clean and program.

    easy to use,value for the money

    This coffee pot is a great value.  You can set it and your coffee will be done when you wake up....Its not that expensive and it lasts for awhile. I would recommend this to others because its a good price for the product... It makes great coffee, easy to use, and you can set the clock to make your coffee.. a great product and a good value what more could you ask for.... I use mine everyday and love it.
