Superior Detergent with Phosphates

Back in 2010, federal law required Phosphates to be pulled out of dish washing detergent, meaning if you had hard water (85% Americans, do.) your glasses would be horribly covered in a white chalky film, and water spots on all your cookware. I've tried every single version of the newer formulations for Cascade & Finish, and nothing works as well as the old stuff. So.. until these smaller boxes of the good old stuff are gone. I will continue buying them. This stuff contains 8.7 Phosphorous Content :)

Excellent dishwasher powder soap

Prior to a first Marriage three years ago now I had never used a dishwasher and always did dishes and glasses by hand in the sink. When I started using a  dishwasher and then Cascade they both had some heavy competition to match up to.

Cascade is a good powder detergent although I have had instances when it did not clean the enire contents inside the dishwasher. Maybe this is the Frigidaire's shortcoming but it none the less does not create trust. I usually buy the lemon scented and at least when it goes into the dishwasher a pleasant smell is present. I have come to realize the dishwasher and Cascade might get hotter than my hands in the sink so from a sanitizing temperature point it may be superior.

Strictly speaking of dishwashers and results Cascade has become our brand of choice and it leaves spotless glassware and good results.

I know there are cheaper brands out there. But I find that nothing cleans as well for the price as good old reliable cascade.
