Pacific  Evolution 24 Inch Boy's Mountain Bike

bought the bike for our son for Christmas, not even 2 months later the pedal and chain fell off. Pedal threads were stripped and unfixable. Wouldn't recommend to anyone that would ride it a lot.

i purcheased this bike for my grandson along with the smart plan and 2.5 months later the bike broke and i filed a claim with the smart plan to get a replacement as i was told i could get by an associate at the local store. during my conversation the the advocate of the smart plan i was informed my clain can be denied for any reason and i may be out the cost of the bike and if my claim was approved i would recieve a gift card. please save your money and purchase neither. no matter how good a price you think it is . its not worth it. i learned to check reviews on items from now on

I had both inner tubes blow out on me, two days apart from each other, and had to replace the break pads because the old ones were so ineffective that I was at risk of flying into traffic. After replacing the tubes and the pads, the bike seems to be mostly satisfactory, though the replacements should not have been necessary after less than a week of use. And yes, I inflated the original inner tubes to the proper psi before riding.

Just went on a bike ride with my son, one of the pedals fell off. Darn chinese cross threaded the threads. Not sure if the store will take it back or i just have to buy a new pedal arm.

I do not recommend this bike at all. I purchased the bike and both tubes were flat. I had to buy new ones and when I replaced the the tires after putting on the new tubes the brakes got messed up. It did not come with good instructions and the pictures look nothing like the bike itself. Very disappointed with this bike.

When I received the box, I was expecting a boy's 24" blue Mountain Bike. Instead I received a 26" pink Woman's Bike!!! So this meant AFTER CHRISTMAS, I had to take the box to a nearby Kmart and exchange it for what I paid for, the bike AND shipping and handling. It was disheartening that I had to wait until after Christmas to give my nephew his gift. After I made the exchange, I found the bike to be just what I ordered in the first place. It's sturdy, durable and will definitely handle my nephew's roughness. It has the perfect designs and colors that he appreciated once he got a chance to see it for himself. I made a great investment this year. But rest assured, I will not be ordering through Kmart online ever again!

It fell apart after two months of light to normal use on roads and paved bike trails.  The pedals fell apart; the brakes failed, rendering it unsafe.  It is an extremely heavy bike.
