Growing 6 to 8 feet tall and climbing trellises, fences or even nearby shrubs, Royal Sweet Pea White or Lathyrus Odoratus, is a great addition to any garden. This white Sweet Pea has a super fragrance and is easily grown from flower seeds. Place Sweet Pea in a sunny location but also where it can be cool in the heat of the day if at all possible. The bloom period depends on temperatures. As the temperatures heat up, bloom production decreases. Remove spent flowers and stems to help prolong the bloom time. Sweet Peas make a great cut flower and they are often seen in bouquets.
