This blender is a great deal! This is a basic blender but has enough power for whatever you plan to make. It has four low settings (puree, chop, whip, and mix) and five high settings (grate, blend, grind, liquefy and ice crush). The six cup BPA free plastic jar is large enough to make several servings of smoothies or slushies at one time. Also, the stainless steel blade is sharp enough to crush ice. My family has used this blender for over five years and it still is as good as new! No need to spend $80-$100 on a mixer.

I needed a blender to mix some milkshakes for my family. The last one(from another department store) I had broke shortly after purchase so I have been without ever since. Found this while strolling a KMart one day and the price was too good to pass up. Does it's job beautifully and I have no complaints. Great product.

This is a good blender for someone that's starting their kitchen and just needs a cheap blender. However, for the "professional" at-home chef, this is not the best blender. I like this blender for making milkshakes and smoothies but make sure nobody is sleeping while using it because it's fairly loud.

We received this blender as a wedding gift. While it gets the job done (and offers various speeds and styles of blending), it isn't the grand poo-bah of blenders. The blender is loud and I always have to hold the lid on to avoid a giant kitchen mess. If you're looking for a basic blender, this one would work. If you want fancy and more impressive, look elsewhere.

A reliable hard worker. This beast tears up ice regularly and has yet to show signs of slowing down after almost a year. A good buy imho.

For such a reasonable price, this is a great blender.  Functionality and looks (for those who don't mind white appliances).  It blends splendidly, from pesto to margaritas to hummous, it can (and has) done it all.  Just be sure to follow the instructions in terms of how much liquid to use when doing heavy blending.

This blender has no problem crushing lots of ice at a time, a plus for me since I eat a lot of ice, and GREAT for margarita nights!!

I use my 10 speed Osterizer blender at least 5 days a week to make protein shakes for breakfast.  I love my blender and count on it to meet my needs daily, so far it's done a great job!!  I usually crush ice, add whole bananas, strawberries, etc. as I blend a shake in the mornings and have no problems blending the ingredients!  Sometimes if the ice and liquid (generally chocolate soy milk) freeze if standing for a moment while I cut fruit, the blender has a hard time crushing the ice, after a few seconds of using the pulse functionality, the ice breaks up nicely and I have no other problems.  I leave the blender on for up to 2 minutes non-stop to fully blend all ingredients and never have problems with the blender overheating.  It is nice that I can remove my hand from the top of the blender if I need to move away for a moment and the lid doesn't fly off, sparying liquid all over the kitchen.  I've been very pleased with my blender, would recommend this product to anyone and everyone!  A great value for the price!!

I purchased this item for fruit smoothies. Although it didn't work on ice, it did great with frozen fruit which is what I needed. Unless you want frozen drinks, I highley recommend this blender for everyday use.
