The subjects of both paintings, as with many of Degas' most acclaimed works, are ballet dancers. The front image is Blue Dancers, circa 1890, featuring dancers in deep sapphire blue tutus in front of a lovely mottled background. On the back is The Dance in the Foyer at the Opera on the Rue Le Peletier, circa 1872, featuring ballerinas in white studying their craft. Both sides are fine quality reproductions of two of Degas' most engaging, compelling works of art.
