DO NOT BUY THIS! It isn't worth 1 star!
After buying this for my son I opened it up turned it on and tried hooking it up to my wifi. I accidently typed the wrong password so inorder to retype the password I had to reset the whole system. Once I did that the website told me I had to download Google Chromewhich is something I do not do. My computer and Google chrome did not recognize the MEEP! After about reloading the website repeatedly I was able to get onto the parental controls. I set them the way I wanted but when I hit confirm it did nothing. I hit confirm again my computer screen went black and it told me it had no hard disk to boot. Their website fried my hard drive. It has been 3 days and still no answer of what they are going to do about my computer. We took the MEEP! back to the store and got a Nadi tablet. It is wanderful!

It is not easy to use, My 8 year old hardly uses it, I should have added the fifty dollars and gotten a mini Ipad instead. Also the on off switch is hard to use.

Meep Tablet - works well once setup
While the setup does take some attention to sort out, I've found once you are up and going, the Meep is easy to use and fun for my son. Meep runs an an active Facebook page where you can find user tips, help for problems if needed, and news about firmware updates. It's nice that Oregon Scientific supports Meep and continues to have the Facebook page and new updates to improve issues. I know the setup can be the hardest part, but really, once you have done that and understand how to use the parent portal to control the Meep, it's pretty cool.

Got this for my 8 year old, and she loves it. Loves the accessories has a drumset and a microphone and keyboard you can purchase extra. Has educational games and games for fun. Has a" meepervisor" account for parents to monitor all childrens activiteis, and apply parental controls.
I would recommend this product to a friend.

its big, bulky, heavy for my child, has zero battery life, hard to navigate around and add things too, if I had not bought so soon before christmas I would have returned it and gotten him an actual tablet

The billing is thru a 3rd party somewhere in Europe. Any issues and the manufacturer will NOT help. Requires you to attach a credit card immediately AND buy tokens right off the bat. Not in the least parent friendly when it comes to set up.

The absolute worst product I have ever purchased
I bought this product for my 8 year old son for Christmas and from the first day we could not register the product. I thought that since it was Christmas the system may of been down but 3 days later I was still unable to register online or reach anyone at customer service. Not to mention the screen kept going black and freezing so he would turn it off and on. I have since returned it and researching a real tablet to purchase for him. I would not recommend this product to anyone until they work out all of the issues!!!!

DO NOT PURCHASE
After waiting days for the server to come back up so my child could even use the thing we found out that this is nothing more than the 50 vtech laptab. The touch screen is hard to use as it does not regonize your finger selecting an action 75% of the time. This is not a tablet for kids it is a complete waste of money. I am returning his and pruchasing the NABI which i have only seen great reviews of.

Gave this to my 8 year old for Christmas. He loves it. Am going to buy one for my 7 and 6 year old.Oly complaint I have is that I just wish it would hold a longer charge.
