A trusty sidekick in a truck or garage
Overall, a good light weight lantern - when fully charged, the 35 watt halogen spot light will glow with the same high intensity for more than 1 hour, and the fluorescent(the one that I purchased came with a 7 watt bulb) lantern will glow for more than 6 hours. The sealed lead acid battery recharges fully in 14 hours from either home AC or car DC. A brighter 13 watt fluorescent bulb that may run for about 3 hours could be an option.

I wouldn't buy another one!
Our lantern worked good at first, for a couple of years, but the battery won't keep a charge, now, and the spotlight bulb is burned out. I cannot find a replacement. A bulb like it is sold, but to use it I would have to solder it into the metal holder. I guess I'll have to throw it out

Good light, good value
I have had other lanterns that I paid more for that didn't last long. This light is more durable and priced right.
I would recommend this product to a friend.
