This tent is great! Bought it on sale for our family of 5. Plenty of space and was very easy for 2 of us to put up and take down.

Northwest Territory Family Cabin 8 Person Tent - 14ft x 14ft
My recommendation for this tent is conditional...we bought it on sale at $60.00 off and that was a big plus. Nice price for a roomy tent that we can use during the summer....AS LONG AS IT IS NOT RAINING!!! The lower seams and the corners leaked in two rainfalls we encountered a few days apart. I sealed the seams twice and the leakage persisted. The tent's seams are not flat seams and I think therein lies the problem. It is very difficult to seal this type of seam but I suspect that this type of construction (a folded seam that rests perpendicular to the wall of the tent) is less expensive to manufacture than, say, the flat seam found in the better and pricier Colemans and Eurekas. I'm thinking of giving it one more shot what a product like a clear silicone that is purposed for bathroom and kitchen seal work. I am thinking that I will run a very small bead of silicone along the stitching forcing the sealer into the needle holes. If this doesn't work the tent is going back to the seller. It is a roomy tent and the price for square foot was great and I really have no other complaints but we don't like water in the tent, in our clothes, luggage, etc. If you can buy one on a good sale and spend a few hours effectively sealing the seams then it might be considered worth the purchase.

Hope it doesn't rain.

Second trip with this tent and we had holes in the fly and in the tent bottom near the pole stakes. Very drafty, unable to seal windows tightly or the blow-out vents at the rear of the tent. It was easy to set up with two people. We would classify this as a warm weather only tent.

Tent spaciuos but leaks at seams on bottom

I bought this tent on sale. My daughter has the same brand and has no problems. I took my new tent camping and it rained. The rain actually made puddles in the tent on the floor. Everywhere. it was awful Also, I found the zippers to be cheap and would catch on the sides alot. The tent went up easy, but not sure I'd get another one. The good thing is that Kmart took it back, not questions asked. I'm just hsitant to replace it with the same tent.

Nice tent

Nice tent. Very roomy and spacious. Setup with two people took five minutes. I liked how the tent walls were near vertical to maximize the head room. I used it for a week in north Carolina outer banks and it held up nicely to moderate winds and four days of off & on torrential down pours and rain. Only had minor leaks at the seam between the top and bottom side panels, less than a pint, but no leaks at all from rail fly, doors or windows. I usually seam seal my new tents but didn't have time for it. Only issue I have is I feel the rain fly is to short over the side windows. An extra foot going out would allow better ventilation in bad weather. I recommend this tent for any normal camping trip where weight and extremes are not an issue. Just remember to stake the lines for the fly.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Overall
good sturdy tent!!! lots of room!!

This tent was my Mother's Day present this year, and what a great one it is! Years of vacations in a bag :) We took it home and sent it up immediately. I was absolutely amazed by the sheer size of this tent, its bigger then my kids swingset, and was still easily put up in 10-15 min by 2 people. Believe me center height is important when your husband is 6'4"!!! We even got to test how waterproof it was right out of the box. It stormed heavily the next afternoon, and no leaks or condensation. (though I'll still be purchasing Kiwi camp dry "just in case") And it was just as easy to put away as it was putting it up!! I'm VERY pleased with this tent, and can't wait to use it next weekend!!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Roomy!!

Great family tent and easy to setup with 3 people and easy to breakdown. This is a very roomy tent and comes greatly organized in carry bag. Used this tent twice and holds up great in high winds. Downside, is would recommend to buy better tent stakes than it came with.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
