Nintendo DSi - Handheld game console - white

The Nintendo DSi is the third model of the Nintendo DS platform, following Nintendo DS and Nintendo DS Lite, and Nintendo has developed Nintendo DSi with the aim to further expand the Nintendo DS audience. Some typical functions include the ability to change the pitch and the speed separately by using the touch screen. The ability to freely manipulate the audio pitch and the speed can expand how the audio player can be used in more practical ways as well. You can fast-forward a podcast to economize the time. When you use the repeat-run function with the stylus, it becomes easier to copy the music, to play a musical instrument or to practice foreign languages. Also, since Nintendo DSi has a microphone, Nintendo is incorporating the DSi sound function to make use of it. Nintendo DSi has internal memory, just like Wii. After storing the data there, you can choose to activate this data from the menu screen.

    Long lasting battery,Great design,Nice dual camera,Wide variety of games,Nice it has WiFi,Good for music via SD
    Cons:
    Internet Slow

    Overall I do recommend this product, very entertaining even for parents (like me when my daughter is not around).

    Great for long trips, places where kids need to be quiet.

    Wonderful for games

    Not good for internet and music

    I have wanted a DS for a few years now but had been waiting. My boyfriend bought me the DSi today for Christmas. I chose this one because it was internet capable and music capable, according to the box.

    However when I connect to the internet it won't show the pages correctly because it has low memory. After searching on line (there's nothing in the book that I could find) I find that the storage onboard is 256mb and the RAM is 16mb, no wonder it won't properly load a page.

    I don't care about the cameras, seems everything has to have a camera these days. I mean seriously - I have a nice DSLR and there is one on my phone, do I really need one on a gaming system? Although the photo tools are fun.

    I was hoping to play music however after reading in the book it will only play AAC files w/ specific filename extensions. FAIL

    I like the games that came installed and I am an avid gamer so I am sure I am going to enjoy it, but I could have done w/out the bells and whistles and wish that I would have.
