works great
i dont know what the other guy is complaning about because this kit works great. the kit is not chrome. its a lite grey color. the 2 side pieces simply screw into the back of the washer. you peel off the 2 sided tape in the front and just place it on the washer. it only fits one way. so im thinking he may of had it backwards. anyway. once you have both side pieces on you put the dryer on the front and simply slide it all the way back till it clicks or locks. (It does take 2 people to pick up the dryer). then you take the 3rd piece and align it on the front and it screws on from the sides. dont put the front piece on before you get the dryer up there. this locks the dryer in place. it took me 15mins to put the pieces on and 15mins to get the dryer locked in. 30mins total. kit works great and im so happy to have the dryer on top and have extra storage. hope this helps.

I was told by Sears customer service that this would work on my front loading Kenmore. The holes didn't line up and it was too long. I drilled new holes and used it anyway. It didn't come out right. Don't buy for Kenmore front loading machines.

Easy to use
So easy to install - all you need is a screwdriver and about 5 minutes. Place the two side pieces on first, tighten screws on back, lift dryer and slide in, then screw in front piece and screw - done. Love it

Very simple to install. Works great
I bought this kit for my Kenmore washer and dryer. The store salesman showed me exactly what to do. It was very very simple to install. Took me less than 5 minutes to install this kit and stack the dryer on top of the washer. The screws for the front cross bar were a bit more difficult to screw on, but once they were installed, the bar was fully secured. Great product.
