    While some people seem to think the only thing that matters is if a cord is in your way.  The fact of the matter is that if you are a FPS (First Person Shooter) fanatic, you really need to give a wired controller a shot.  It is documented to be slightly faster in actual response time (.1-.5 seconds)... which can truly be life or death in shooter games.

    If you only play sports or adventure games, wireless might be a better idea.  However, if you or the person you are buying for plays Halo or Call of Duty... They should notice a difference.

    Once you go wireless you won't go back. The wired controllers are old skool. Save yourself the hassle and spend a few dollars more and get the wireless.
