Microsoft  Gears of War 3

I love the Gears of War series and so do my kids. It's well worth the money!

Never playing a Gears of War game before I was expecting something along the lines of a less realistic Call of Duty. These hopes of course were 1 in a million. Gears of War 3 really sucked me in with its astonishing graphics. It was something along the lines of the realism of Battlefield 3. Playing online multiplayer first I was not very happy with what I saw. A 3rd person view of your player comes into focus as soon as you play and this means you cannot look down your sights. This turned me off along with unorganized scoring, weapon selection, and player statistics. The campaign has much work in progress with a very slow progression of pace and boring encounters with enemies. The so called "battles" you play are very un-exciting. This stopped me after the first 3 so called "missions". I heard so many wonderful things about Gears of War 3 and was totally unhappy with what I saw and played.

As the third game in the Gears of War series, Gears 3 definitely lived up to the hype. I really enjoyed the detailed and captivating campaign, and the online is a great change from the previous 2 games. The pace of Gears 3 is more fast online which adds to the fun, especially with all the new changes and additions online.

I love this game, it's a great addition to the already addictive Gears series. The campaign is fairly easy but doesn't over-do it for people new to the game. The graphics are great although a bit gorey (hence the "M" rating), but you can disable them if you want. The storyline is fairly convincing and isn't hard to follow if you haven't played the first two games. The online experience is even better because they try to make sure that  everybody can play people of near identical experience. This game definitely is better than Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3.

Gears of War 3 is a video game to be remembered for a lifetime. The gameplay is fun, innovative, and not the same run off the mill shooter. The single player campaign is where this came shines. The story is just so interesting and will have have an emotional impact on you. I recommend this game to just about anyone.

i love the multiplayer on it and also love the graphics and i think everybody should get this great game and i cant say negative other than it freezing when playing some times but everything has a glitch

I love it, and now more that they are going to make a new trilogy of gears of war... :D

Gears of war 3 is hands down the best out of the trilogy for me. They definately worked out most of the glitches and bugs from the earlier gears.

Campaign is interesting and fast paced, and multiplayer is quick to get on a match, unlike gears 2.

Best gears to date! If you're a fan of gears of war, then you will love this game.

The game is so much better than the first two, especially in multiplayer. The addition of dedicated servers makes the game fair for everybody (as opposed to having a strong advantage for the host). The campaign also includes surprisingly emotional moments.
