Masterbuilt  30 In. Electric Smoker with Window and Remote

This was a gift for my daughter that uses an electric smoker almost every weekend. She is thrilled with not only the beauty of this smoker but that it cooks perfectly! Also, she had no problem putting the parts on the smoker (wheels, etc.) I called customer service and was given excellent service in advising which smokerhouse cover to purchase to protect the smoker. The cover is already on the way. The shipping service is excellent and packed perfectly. Hope others purchase this lovely smoker ... they will be thrilled!

I like the machine, overall but the instructions for the remote are vague--once you activate it, it eliminates any settings you have on the smoker. The enclosed recipe for the tuna is missing a key step--marinate before smoking! Bought this on the recommendation of a friend.

Be very careful with this brand/company. I bought a bought this brand in a Stainless Steel smoker. I paid $100 extra ($300 Total) to get the "Long Life" stainless version because I use often and did not want a throw away model. Less than two years after purchasing this brand, the heating element went bad. No problem, that is not all that uncommon or unexpected to me. What WAS unexpected was that when I tried to replace the element, they told me that the element was NOT REPLACEABLE (you actually have to drill out 10+ rivets in the back and use a metal saw to saw a hole in the metal to even get to the element. Masterbuilt told me that it was not designed to be replaced. Had several email exchanges and phone calls with their UN-HELPFUL customer support. They were unwilling to fix, replace, or refund all or part of what I paid. They did offer me a "special price" on a new one, which turned out to be MORE Than I could buy it from at the local big box building supply places. Now I am stuck with an expensive smoker with a stainless steel case that will never rust and a heating element that will NEVER WORK. I did advise them that I would post this story in every review for their products. They said that was my prerogative and they did not mind because I knew when I bought the product that it only had a 90 day warranty. I did know that and I did not expect them to replace the heating element for me, but I just assumed that with a $300 smoker that I would be able to replace the Heating element myself. So, if you buy this brand (also the same company makes several other brands) BE SURE THE HEATING ELEMENT CAN BE REPLACED. Better yet, just avoid the brand all together as if they will sell Junk like the sold me and treat customers like they did me, they will sell and do the same to you.
