    Works great December 02, 2008

    This thing gace me everyhting I expected for the money. Dont expect an IPOD but expect a great MP3 player. Bought this and a competing brand for my daughters, and this one is by far and away the better model. One side note, you must have the on/off switch in the "on" position to charge it. Might be why it only worked for a short time for one reviewer. BTW tech support was awesome when I called them about the charging question.

    Great Table Level! September 30, 2008

    Oh this thing has got it all! From good plastic casing to wires and stuff and everything in between! If your looking to buy something, look no further cause this thing has a price. It has won 'finest mp3 player in 64'' award and its just improving with every compliment it gets.

    Pros:
    Price,Durability,Battery Life
    Cons:
    No external memory,No file sorting

    I got this as a gift for Christmas 3 years ago and it's still going strong! Usually no-name players from China don't last too long, as my family has experienced in the past. 

    Now I will list some pros and cons of the unit.

    Pros:

    Great battery life even after 100 recharges and lasted over 10 hours last week when I had a Doctor Who audio adventure marathon.

    Displays files and directories in alphabetical order, which several other players I've used failed to do and threw up my songs in what appeared to be some secret mystical order.

    Turns on very quickly from sleep and and just a bit longer from the "Off" position.

    Cons:

    Image files with large resolutions turn into blurry pixel messes on its tiny screen with no way to zoom in.

    One of the two players my family bought started up with white vertical lines running across the screen and has stayed that way ever since.

    Must convert all videos to .amv format to enable playback on the unit.

    Doesn't take any external memory cards.

    In short, this is a great simple player for a little kid, or for someone who just wanta to play music and needs no bells and whistles.

    I had this mp3 for about an hour and it frozed on me don't know how to unfreeze it so probably have to take it back
