Great plane! Set is a bit incomplete...

The plane in this set is fantastic with some great elements and playability Pros: - Plane - Minifigs - Vehicles Cons: - You only get a control tower so the set feels incomplete. We had to buy a retired lego city airport set to make the set feel complete I would recommend this product if you have, or can buy, the old lego city airport set.

Cargo Terminal & Plane

Huge, awesome plane! Four engines with lots of cargo options. I love this set & if you're a City fan, this is a recommended buy. Like I said, huge plane, rolls smooth, cargo = one quad chassis, quad wheels, 3 types of shipping boxes, two boxes of gold (12 bars total). 5 minifigs, three with headphones which are nice touch. Plus...nice wide forklift and baggage loader car; both of which are easy to use. Terminal tower is cool, I modified the base of mine with greenery and larger base plate. Looks great!! Displyed this with two cargo trucks 60020 and is bricktastic!. At $99, it cost .15 cents per piece but has lots o big pieces. Best cargo set yet with lots of playability. Fun set!

Excellent Set, A Bit Pricey...

This set has so many features and is a big step up from the older Cargo Plane. It includes more minifigures for the vehicles and the vehicles themselves are much more solidly built than in the previous edition. I like the conveyor belt and fuel vehicle. The plane itself is massive, and it fits every piece of cargo I have for my entire airport set... almost twice as much cargo as there is provided. My only complaint has to do with the wings. They leave a whole empty wasted compartment in the middle of the jet. They also do not look very realistic - they don't have any kind of flap, and the general shape is off a little bit. The engines have a big open space on the back, which is very unrealistic. Also, the gear, (while very solidly built) does not look realistic either. Aside from those two things, this set is absolutely fantastic! I do need to complain a little about the price. The previous Cargo Plane was only $50. The addition of the the two extra minifigures and vehicles, and the length extension to the plane, doubles the price! I think that's a little expensive.

Take Off

Very good set. Bought this set not that long ago and I still enjoy playing with it. A friend told me that her grandson would like the little forklift as it could pick up the crates and put them into the plane. The plane is a good size and the mini figures are great. The Octan truck is really nice, but the mini figure has to use the forklift to get up on the plane to refuel it. Also the conveyor belt is a great extra and the control tower is just right. Great set overall!!!!

Wow

This set has a huge plane that is really nice. I like that the wings are one piece instead of a bunch of different pieces. Fuel car, forklift, and luggage car are all really cool. The cargo itself is really cool too. I wish this set was a little less money though because control tower isn't the best. For starters, If I'm not blind, (and I'm not) it's missing a whole side. Otherwise, it's a great set!

Everything I Expected!

After this set first appeared in late June, I was determined to get it. I did not know what to expect since I did not own any large planes, but this set was everything I expected and MORE. If you are unsure about paying 100 dollars for a plane, you will NOT regret it. Sincerely, Very happy customer

This set it amazing ! The plane is HUGE !! and there is a lot of playability with this set. You get gold bars which you can load on the plane and a small buggy which is all taking apart and stored into pallets which go on the plane also. Just a really good set would recommend to any aviation fan or someone who wants to build a airport !! Thank You Lego !!

Ok

I am a huge collector of lego city and other alike so when I saw this one on tv I just had to have it. This is my first 4 engine plane of my collection. It took me about 2 hours to complete the whole thing. On concern is that the middle of it, where the wings meet the plane is completely useless. It is closed off and you can't put anything there. There is literally a wall. I took it off on my plane so now the whole thing is hollow. Nice way to be cheep lego! The control tower is ok, but compared to the other set that came out in 2010, it is worse. It has a sticker for the radar and is shorter and less detailed that the other. I really like the fork lift. Detail on that is great. except the light. I added a lego to center it. At first I didn't know what the wheal and the front and back of a something was doing for part of the cargo. Then I put it together only to realize it was a quad. The wheels are a good thing to have for cargo, but the quad being speared made it look very odd. I like the gold bars I also like the car with the conveyer belt that moves luggage to the plane's cargo hold. This plane in real life is an Airbus A-340. But I don't think there is a cargo plane for the A-340. I know for the Boeing B-747 there is and that one as well has four engines. The front wheal on the plane gets suck sometimes and when I use the tow car from 3181 it gets stuck between the wheal. The price should be $75USD as you can't use most of the plane and the lesser detail on the control tower.

Cargo Terminal

Another very cool set, but again quite pricey. There are many cool features this set has in: the cargo (mainly boxes, but also some gold and the frame of an ATV), the vehicles (forklift and octane car), the control tower, and of course the cargo plane. Although some things I didn't like were: the vehicles were pretty small, there wasn't a way to get to the top of the control tower, and it came with 4 basic minifigures (the pilot was pretty cool though). Overall a decent set, but with a lot of cons for me.
