La-Z-Boy Outdoor  Austin 4 Pc. Seating Set

We purchased the four piece set, two recliners, two ottoman's and three end tables the end of June.  It was delivered in four days!  The pieces were all OK except one was bent that I was able to straighten.  My biggest complaint is that the action chairs and the recliner's back cushions are very short.  When you recline back or try to rest your head, the edge of the cushion and frame of the chairs hit you in the neck.  Anyone over 5'6" tall will have a problem. I am in the process of contacting BJI but regardless of the disturbing fact that the group photo on their internet site shows the cushion extending about four inches higher than the frame (mine are below the frame), they claim that all the cushions are the same.  Did they make special cushions for the photo shoot??   I hope this wasn't done to deceive their customers!  I am sure that a change was made because of the obvious design flaw, but nobody seems to know anything about it.  If I don't get anywhere with this, the whole set is going back and I want to be compensated for my assembly time, which is considerable.  Also, the tables are prone to tipping over and the ceramic tops are not secured to the frame.  The seat cushions look thick and comfortable, but the foam is wimpy and the fabric doesn't spring back into shape. The cushions on the ottoman are not secure in place with the VelCro style straps and the foot cushions on the recliner's drag on the floor when you recline, or sit up because of the wimpy VelCro. The set looks great, but performs poorly.  Don't waste your money.  Has anyone else experienced these same cushion problems?

We've had this patio set for about a month now and have been enjoying it.  The cushions are very comfortable and it has the appearance of a high quality set at a resonable price.  It would be nice if you could use the center table as an ottoman to put up your feet, but the wicker material creates a divot from your heels.  We bought a storage box to place the cushions when not in use so I'm not sure how bad they'll fade if they are left out in the sun all day. 

All in all a great set for the price. 

Awesome set.....great price($699).  Very comfortable.  But don't buy the recliner unless you are shorter than about 5'6".  Otherwise your head and feet will dangle uncomfortably.........the recliner went back to the store but i am really enjoying the seating set at this price.

Look around for porch furniture and I found this one online for 50% off. Purchased it without viewing it and so far we love it. Others were junk and higher priced. Highly recommend!

I purchased this seating set online from Sears. It arrived in less than a week packed all in one large box. Setup was quick (about 15 minutes per piece). There were no defects in any of the pieces (except one screw hole wasn't tapped). Very comfortable, high-end looking set with thick deep cushions. All the colors were rich, earthy tones. The two single chairs are rockers which means they can tilt back and forth a bit. Very happy with this purchase. Well worth the $809 price. The cushions seem to dry very quickly as the set got caught in the rain on the first day. I would have picked up the ottomans as well if I had room for them under my gazebo.

The Austin looks great once assembled. However getting it together was the challenge. They sent 2 right arms for the loveseat making it impossible to assemble. Replacements parts are being sent but we must wait 7-10 days for delivery. One of ottomans could not be assembled completely because a flawed part would not take a screw. Finally one arm had a significant scratch. The company has promised all will be made right. But this experience has put me off the product.

Bought this set onoline from sears end of March. Delivery was fast and items were packaged well. The set is very stylish and comfortable which is what I would expect from a brand like lazyboy. I have had a major issue however with this set. About 1 month from my purchase the wicker weave on the rocking chair started to come loose. I called BJI and they replaced the part no questions asked. delivery was free and fast. 2 months later the weave from the storage table started to come off and they again sent me a replacement no questions asked but I had to pay a shipping and handling fee. I cannot reccommend this product because the weave seems to be an issue and for a brand like lazyboy and for the price of this item, I would expect much better quality. I am nervous because in 1 year when the warranty ends I know I will probably have to replace the set if I keep having issues. My reccomendation would be to save your money this set is not worth what you pay for it.

We just finished turning our screen porch into a 3-season room and were on the hunt for a seating group. I looked at several seating groups and this one caught my eye. I love how stylish this set is. The woven wicker is a nice rich brown and goes beautiful with the color of the cushions. The woven trunk is a nice alternative to a table as it has more than one function. This set really completes our room and we couldn't be happier!
