Kenmore  Canister Vacuum Cleaner

I purchased this based on the reviews and I am very happy with the purchase thus far. It has excellent power and propels forwad on it's own. Great for kids to help out with. It has a indicator light to tell when the bag is full. I got this on sale and it is well worth the purchase.

I've used a Model 9800 aqua for about 2 years now, so not sure if this is the same one. The very first thing I noticed in using it, is that it has a very good power, and it is lightweight. The second thing I noticed was that the hose (which detaches) has a grey-colored plastic piece that sticks out much more than its predecessor, making it much more difficult to get in between narrow spaces when using the crevice tool. I can't see any functional reason why it's larger than the prior, but it just gets in the way and doesn't fit in those small spaces as well. Other than that, I'm very happy with it and it does an excellent job!

I own three cats, three dogs and I have four kids. So you can imagine I need a good vacuume. So far so good. My parents purchased one of these items about 20 years ago and it is still running. I do own a bagless vacume but with my ashma I was really SICK of dealing with all the dust. This one picks up MORE dust then my bagless! WOW! The bags are ok in price. But you can go on line and order bags with more quanity. Looking forward to many years of great service from this product.

I bought this Kenmore today and just love it. It's my first canister vacuum and is far better than my uprights. The motor is so powerful and is pretty much self-propelled just like a lawn mower.It picked up everything. Very pleased so far.

I've always used up right vaccums and this is the first canister vaccum I ever had. I'm very happy with it I love how I can get under most everything. I really like the on-off switch on the handle and it is easy to detach with a longer hose or the hand held. I've had no problems with this and have owned it for about 10 months now. I think it is worth the money and my sister bought one just by trying mine! So good choice for my first cansiter vac!

This vacuum is very powerful and easy to use. It picks up quite well. Being a canister, it is easy to get under beds and other furniture. The only downfall I have with it is that the bags are very expensive.

I am shocked to say that this vacuum broke three months to the day of having purchased it.  I am going to return it today.   My previous vacuum was a Kenmore and it lasted for years.   I was so happy with it and this vacuum looks as if it is the little sibling to the one I had.  Nope, it worked great while it worked but the head of the wand no longer works.  Not at all happy with having to lug this thing back to the store!  Maybe mine was just a lemon, but I will not be trading the store for another of the same model.  I gave this a poor rating only because there is not a lower rating available.
