Kenmore  5.1 cu. ft. Upright Freezer

The first one we bought and brought home, did not work at all, returned it and got another one, the second one stopped working after 4 months and repairman said it is done. Kenmore is junk,do not waste you money and precious time. Do not shop at Sears. Poor customer service and bad return policy.

why would you buy untested items. it has not worked from day one. if I wanted to buy damaged items I would have gone to your bump and ding store I bought new and got bump and ding quality. after it is fixed I want some money back for now sending it back in the first place. if I wanted junk I could have gone to one of your competitors. get your act together or I will shop elsewhere.

The actual product isn't exactly as described, it really doesn't have a full four shelves for storage, it's more like 3 1/4 shelves. There are no "Easy rolling wheels". This product is: Energy Guide Rated but on the adjacent side bar it states that it's : "ENERGY STAR Compliant: No" I've never owned an Upright Freezer that didn't have an inside light... My Bad! Had I known that the freezer was as small as it is, I would have chosen the next size up. This one I can only store extra bread, Ice Cream, Desserts and maybe a few days of extra meats etc.! ***The next question ask if I would recommend this item to a friend? No I must answer no because it only give me 2 options, would have been better if there was a maybe option... Then I would chosen that one!

This item is to really small, once you see it.

Very small size will fit in a closet.

We purchased this last week when our old Whirlpool 5.1 chest freezer broke after almost 10 years. Was looking at getting another chest freezer but decided on this since it had shelves in it and you can easily access items that you might otherise forget about if they were underneath other items in a chest. For the two of us it is just the right size and is very quiet also. It took only a few hours to get cold enough for us to put in our food items in and it is very nice to be able to see what is in there at a glance. We hope that for the price it will last another 10 years like the last freezer we had. The sales associate also matched the internet price so we got a good deal. Great little freezer for us!!

We purchased this 5.1 because we moved to an apartment, and needed a little more freezer space.First of all I trust the Kenmore name, It fits perfectly in the space we had available,and it is quiet,it freezing my food quickly. Enough shelf space to hold the food we have put in it. All we did was unpack the freezer, let it set for 24 hours, and plugged it in. It started up right away....and was ready for our food by the next day. Love , Love , Love it.....

Just brought it today. Had great reviews so i brought it.My old Ewave upright just went out Friday. Just have to wait for it.
