    A little heavier than what I'm used to,develops little cracks in the glaze

    I've been using this dinnerware ware set for about 4 months now. It is pretty, I love the unique pattern. I actually purchased both the cream and the chocolate sets, and they mix and match quite well. Only 3 cons so far, they are heavy and clunky. Also, the bowls have gotten fine little cracks all in the inside of the glazed surface (it's called "crazing" and is normal for clay pottery). The cracks just make it look more old/used than it is. Last, because of how unique the pattern is, it may not match ones home decor, or other kitchen items, not a bi deal.

    Beautiful, durable, dishwasher safe

    I received the brown set and the ivory set for Christmas and they are beautiful mixed together! It looks like a setting you would see in a high-end department store! The mugs are gorgeous and they are a good size. I have used Corell for years and still like the durability and light weight characteristics of it, but we just remodeled our kitchen and I really wanted something a little nicer for us and for when guests come over. This set fits the bill perfectly. They are a little heavier than what I'm used to, but for the beauty, it is worth it. We don't have kids in the house, so we don't have to worry about breakage, although we will have to be careful not to chip these...especially since we have been used to the near indestructability of the Corell. The pattern on this set is even more beautiful in person, and if you are concerned about mixing the brown set with the ivory set, don't be. The green trim around the edge, along with the pattern pulls both sets together. It truly is a beautiful place setting on my table. When I received the two sets, the box was open and the packing peanuts were everywhere in my yard, but when I opened the individual dinnerware boxes, much to my surprise, there was not a single piece broken. Even though K-Mart could use some improvement on their packaging practices, the people at the Jaclyn Smith manufacturing plant have it down right. I am very pleased with both of these sets and I'm sure you will be too!

    This dinnerware set is so beautiful! I looked at alot of stores and online to find a set I liked. I saw these online, so I went to the store to see them. I bought this set and the set in ivory! I was just so impressed with the design and colors. Highly recommend the brown and ivory set.
