    I love the scalloped floral white dinnerware set! October 18, 2010

    I love the vintage look of these dishes. They are a beautiful design that looks expensive but isn't. I disagree with the other review that says they aren't really white. other than the aged element of the scallop detail they look white to me. I think they are perfect for my country french style home!

    Beautiful set, just not exactly as pictured August 13, 2009

    I was so pleased with how quickly Kmart shipped these. I ordered two sets since we are a family of five and one set will only accomodate four. When I opened the first box, I was a tiny dissappointed at the appearance. While beautiful, they are not a pure white. They are more of a creamy color, though not quite ivory, and each scallop has an ivory color "shadow" around it. It almost looks as if the glaze rubbed off or perhaps the darker parts were created to make the raised parts look more so. I thought perhaps it was a fluke, but the second set was identical. The are sturdy, yet not heavy, and were overall very nice, with the exception of a few minor imperfections in the finish. Maybe that is just because of the price point (?) Overall I was pleased with the entire purchase, i just would have preffered to have the crisp pure white it shows in the picture. Not a big enough downer to go through the trouble of returning though.

    Pros:
    affordable, elegant, sturdy

    This set is elegant enough to use for special occasions or can be a beautiful set for everyday use. Right now I am using it for my special occasions because my little ones are too small for the weight of the plates. The floral print gives it a fancy feel and it doesn't take much to dress it up. I love the style and color; perfect for any decor. I found it very reasonably priced for a set.
