    Jaclyn Smith Traditions Faux Marble Dining Set Perfect for Me. April 02, 2011

    I love this dining set. It took a while to put together, but otherwise it is great. Chairs and table are sturdy and comfortable. Just the right height. Table is easy to clean on top. Wasn't sure about faux finish, but it looks good and is staying nice. This works great for my smaller family and smaller dining space. If this is what you are looking for, it is a good purchase.

    Don't buy this! April 08, 2011

    This table was on sale for $200 when I bought it. The first table I brought home had a chunk missing underneath and every corner of the table top was scratched to where the varnish had rubbed off around it. Thinking I had a dud, I exchanged it. With the second table, I examined every piece in the store before leaving. As I put it together, I noticed that the wood stain was inconsistant and splashed, which appeared to be a knot upon unassembled inspection. Also, the bars between the chair legs were not cut evenly at all. The wooden part that the washers cover broke off easely, which was a good thing because not all of the screws lined up. The phillips screws that held the chair bars on had nowhere to screw into. They were useless. The completely assembled table and chairs wiggled.

    I have never assembled a dining set before, but I think this is pretty bad. This table is the very FIRST new thing I've gotten for my home! I even bought oil soully for dusting it because Pledge just wouldn't do (geeky, I know). Needless to say, I literally cried when I realized that I might be stuck with a more-so damaged $200 table. By the time I had exchanged it and jammed it together...I guess I'm just satisfied that its a dining set at this point.

    This furniture not only is functional but takes the wear and tear of a family and still looks so elegaqnt. it is worth every penny you will spend on it.

    It looks nice, but some of the wood was chipped. The chairs are a little rocky (all 4 of them). It's true when they say you get what you pay for, so I guess it'll do...

    this is the biggest piece of junk. I purchased it and put it together only to find most pieces chipped. and warped form the manufactuer and when i called them they basically told me to t=return to the store which i intened to do this week as i have had family obligations tht preveneted me form doing so
