Hoover  Widepath Tempo Upright Vacuum Cleaner

We have owned very expensive rainbow sweepers in the past and we have found this sweeper to have just as good suction. Our first model lasted about 5 years and then my wife swept up something that we think may have broken something internally and we have no suction now. For the price of thi s sweeper it does not bother me a bit that it only lasted 5 years....and that was our fault. out to buy the exact sweeper in just a few minutes.

This is the best vacuum I have ever had! It also has the longest cord I have ever seen on one. I can vacuum my whole livingroom, dining room and hall way plus the laundry without having to replug. No cons for this one.

Overall I am extremely pleased with this vacuum...especially for the price.  I had repaired my old Oreck too many times and needed a reasonably priced replacement.  I have three pets, so good suction is important.  I read alot of reviews before deciding to purchase the Hoover Widepath Tempo Upright Vacuum.  The vacuum itself does a great job.  And I am not as pleased with the attachments.  The hoses are not very flexible and not long enough.  But again, for the price, I'd recommend this vacuum for sure.

Recently purchased this vacuum on-line via K-Mart and am very pleased with it. I especially like that it can drop to being completly horizontal allowing one to clean under furniture and bedding. It is lightweight yet sturdy and the suction has a 5 point choice scale on #1 for bare floors the suctioning is awesome able to pick up the smallest of particles of debris. The color is a robins egg blue and black that is easy on the eye and it is about average in size and requires not much space for storage. Changing the bag is easy to do just pop off the cover remove the old bag and replace it with a new one its just that easy. The on/off switch is located on the body of the vacuum making it easier to access without having to bend over. Anyone buying this vacuum will be satisfied.

I read the reviews on here before I purchased this vacuum. I read one that said no belt was available, not true here. I purchased an extra belt and bags at the same time I picked up the vacuum, no issues. Easy assembly two screws and you're done. I plugged it in and started vacuuming. I did have to spread the prongs on the plug because any little slight tug it came unplugged...no big deal and problem fixed. The vacuum picked up great. I'm a big tool user, I have cats. My one complaint is the hose. It's very stiff and not quite long enough. In fact the vacuum hit me in the head when I tried reaching more than what the hose was giving. The hose/tool function itself works wonderfully. Really picked up. For the price of this vacuum it's well worth it. The economical cost doesn't reflect on it's inability to pick up or amount of vacuum. That part is fantastic. The price to me, more reflex the stiff hose and the attachments don't fit too securely into their slots. I lost a few on my trails..lolol I'm still very satisfied with the vacuum. I love bagged vacuums, I am very put off by bagless; been there and hated that! I am a huge hoover fan....the one I just replaced was over 15 years old! I suggest picking this vacuum up; it totally sucks!! lololol

The vacuum was great while the belt lasted. I've had it for only four months and the belt broke. I went to KMart, and they don't sell the replacement belt. Neither do ******* or ******. I've even searched Hoover's Web site, ******.com, and others. I would not purchase this vacuum cleaner unless you want to buy a new one when your belt breaks.

For the price this is a great vacuum.

  easy to use,easy to handle and easy to clean. The machine performs well and has sufficient suction for moderate to difficult cleaning. It is a neat, good looking, compact package that doesn't baffle you with unnecessary bells and whistles. No need for a $400 cleaner, this one does the trick.

I had another hoover for many years and it finally died on me so I went to Kmart and picked up this Hoover on a whim.  I like hoover and the price was right.  I swear my floors and carpeting have never been so clean.

After reading several reviews I purchased the Hoover Tempo. I use this vacuum weekly. No problems. Works well on carpets. Great value.
