Super deep down Hooever Steam Vac
Totally satisfied with my Hoover SteamVac Carpet Cleaner. The rugs came out beautifully clean and smelled so fresh. My rugs are 29 years old and not only did they come out clean, the nap in the rug was like new. I would never use anything other than a Hoover. Very easy to use and clean up is quick.

So easy to use and clean up afterwards

I love this machine. I purchased this machine last fall because of my aging dog. I have used it almost daily since then. It is fast, easy and does a decent job. I love the fact that it dismantles so easily to clean up the parts. Good job carpet cleaner machine engineers. I have also used it at my daughters house (she got a new puppy); it did a great job cleaning her older carpet that was getting heavy traffic from two kids and two dogs. Now, if I could just get a soap product that actually takes pet stains out as claimed without leaving traces either darker or lighter that would be fabulous.

Horrible

I bought this product barely a year ago and after seven months the handle broke on it in which the company was nice enough to send me a replacement handle and now it leaks out the bottom and I've tried everything you're supposed to to make it not leak and it is not working. We paid a lot of money for this product and it is horrible. Not worth the money

Worked Great at First

I have had this cleaner for about 5 months and at first I was super impressed. I've never used a cleaner that left my floors so clean and almost completely dry right away. I've used it several times because I have pets and I have kept up on maintaining and cleaning the machine. It still cleans great but for some reason the "Heated Cleaning" doesn't heat up anymore and there is not option for that in any of the troubleshooting.

seals for the tanks

I have only used this machine once for our home and when trying to take the clean water tank off the lid would not release due to the seal. I finally got the seal to release but it does not fit and tries to cross when putting the lid on. I have not tried to use it since due to the seal not fitting.

Over-engineering makes this a poor product

This carpet cleaner replaced another that I had owned for years and literally wore out. I am disappointed in the new one and although it cleans like a champ, it is a real pain to operate. Following are my gripes: 1. There's no handle on the dirty water tank. It must be lifted with both hands. This makes carrying it and the clean water tank to the sink to empty and rfill at the same time impossible. Too many trips to the sink. 2. Did you know that approximately 20% of Americans have knee problems and approximately 60% have back problems? The hose attachment procedure uses both of these parts of our body to a great extent and not in a good way. The whole hose attaching process is way too over-engineered. If I had known when I purchased this machine that I would have to get down on my hands and knees and go through 5 steps just to use the hose I never would have bought it. That's ridiculous! The old machine did not require any of this malarkey. 3. The "Stair/upholstery Cleaning Connection" door is so tight it is difficult to hold it open while inserting the connector collar. 4. It is next to impossible to get the last bit of liquid out of the clean water tank which means it stays in there till I use it again. Not acceptable. In summary, this is not a machine for the faint of heart, someone who has back or knee issues or the unfit elderly. What a shame. That's a pretty sizable market share you are missing! I'm 65 and in great shape so if I'm complaining I can't imagine how frustrated others must feel.

Help! Water leak

I bought this steamvac about 2 years ago.  I love it and it does an amazing job on the carpet but it started to leak out of the bottom, just a little at first and now even if I don't turn it on it pours water out the bottom and side.  I don't know if it's a hose leak or o-ring. I plan to call customer service tomorrow and hope that they can help. Based on my findings, I may or may not purchase this product again in the future.

Overall
frustrated!

I bought this product based on reputation of manufacturer. From the beginning I have had trouble once I empty the bottom tank and refill the top. The first time of use, it worked great. I emptied/refilled the tanks, had to take them out, reposition, take out reposition... 7x for it to work again. Then it went for maybe 10x of use with no problem. This morning, here we go again. If I hadn't already used it, I would take this thing back to the store. When it's working, it cleans great. My shoulder and arm are so sore from the repeated taking out and repositioning, trying to get it to work. If someone knows what might be going on with it, I'd appreciate some info.
