    I needed a new can opener as the old one got really gunky after 15 years and I got tired of the battery-type one touch openers that we had to keep replacing every 6 months. I needed something handy immediately on the counter. Received this as a Christmas present and wasn't sure about it's height. After using it a couple of times, I was hooked -- it accommodates big/tall cans, is quiet, and very easy to operate and easy to clean. The only thing is that I would've liked it in black. Otherwise, no complaints - I just cover it up with matching appliance cozies with my toaster oven and juicer.

    too short cord

    I like this can opener because its a bit taller...

    Its made durable...where you raise arm up and down is thick plastic that

    wont crack like some others Ive had...

    Its fairly quiet...

    I dont like that it has a really short cord...

    I've used other can openers that were electric, this one is one of the best I've ever used, It's easy, fast, valued at great low price, stands nice and looks good on counter, easy to clean, understandable instructions, nicely packaged....I highly recommend and wish I had bought one earlier
