TheHamilton Beach Can Opener, Walk 'n Cut, is excellent.
I have arthritis and can not use a turn can opener. This can opener is excellent. Does rings around the $90 Black & decker Gizmo. It holds a good charge and is so very easy to use. It takes no space at all and is always ready to use.

I decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised at how fast it cut. It was a lot louder than I was expecting. Overall, I like it and will keep on using it.

I have a Black and Decker rechargable can opener that has been getting slower and slower at opening a can. I decided it was time for a new one. I saw this Walk n Cut and liked it's small size. I decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised at how fast it cut. It was a lot louder than I was expecting. Overall, I like it and will keep on using it.

I love this can opener , I purchased this last year June 2011with the extra warranty plan( since it wasn't too expensive). worked great for a whil keep a charge a long time, but all of a sudden it's no longer working :-( . But the warranty has me covered , so I will be purchasing the same one again

HB can opener is rechargeable and just what I was looking for

The Hamilton Beech Walk around can opener is just what I was looking for.  I had a B&D one that I used for years, but the blade got dull and wouldn't open the cans any more.  The can opener is same and doesn't take up much room on my table.  I am short of space anyway.

I have found that it is a little hard to work on very short cans, like tuna, but just hang onto the can opener and then let the can go around.  Works great.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

VERY DIFFICULT TO GET THIS UNIT JUST RIGHT TO WORK AS ADVERTISED

BEFORE BUYING THIS HAMILTON BEACH 'WALK 'N CUT' CORDLESS CAN OPENER, I'VE ALWAYS USED BLACK & DECKER'S CORDLESS 'GIZMO' OPENERS BUT AFTER BUYING 3 GIZMOS IN JUST OVER 3 YEARS @ $49.99 BECAUSE THEY ONLY SEEMED TO WORK ABOUT 1 YEAR BEFORE THEY NO LONGER ACCEPTED/HELD A CHARGE, I DECIDED TO TRY THIS HAMILTON BEACH CORDLESS PRODUCT @ A MORE REASONABLE $19.99. TO DATE, THOUGH, I'VE TRIED SEVERAL TIMES TO OPEN THE SAME TYPES OF CANS THE GIZMO NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH, BUT I'VE BEEN UNABLE TO GET THE HAMILTON BEACH UNIT POSITIONED JUST RIGHT IN ORDER FOR IT'S BLADE TO PUNCTURE THE CAN TOP SO AS TO ALLOW THE UNIT TO CONTINUE AROUND THE CAN TOP. I'VE TOSSED THE HAMILTON BEACH INTO THE GARBAGE BIN AND GONE BACK TO USING A MANUAL OPENER.
