DVD Player Made Simple
I love the simplicity of this DVD player. The Remote control has too many functions and i only use about four out of the 3 million (kidding). Its so simple to connect also, it took me less than a minute to connect and watch movies. Love it! I def recommend this DVD player at such a low price!

Quick death
I've had this product for a couple of months now. And suddenly, it stopped working. It's showing a blinking red light on the power LED and that's it. It will not power up at all. A quick google and I find that several other people have this problem. Don't buy, it's cheap, but not worth it.

DO NOT BUY! CHEAP! JUNK! Went through 2!

I bought one of these last year and it broke within a month and maybe 4 times of using it. The green power light button starts flashing and then it wont open then the green power light turns red and flashes and makes a noise. I turned around and bought another one after returning this and I didn't even make it a year and the same problem and I might have used it a couple dozen times. I take care of everything I own and this sets on its own shelf with no misuse, its pure junk. I would recommend if you buy this to use it every day before the 30 day warranty runs out and make sure it will hold up if you buy it. I will never buy junk again! I will pay a little more to get a better brand.

GPX DVD player broke after 6 months

This DVD player was working great for 6 months. Then one evening a scratched dvd broke the device. It will never work again and I have to purchase another cheap dvd player. What a waste of material and money. Go America

I am sorry to day it is junk.

It worked fine for 4 months then the video started "rolling". Checked some repair forums on line and evidently this player does not dissipate heat efficiently. A number of people reported the same problem. It is really a shame. Worked great until it did not work.

Good value

A DVD player for 30 bucks (we actually got it for 25, on sale). Can this be possible? The unit does seem kind of flimsy, and the remote has to be pointed directly at it (and sometimes pressed a couple times). But it does work and the picture looks fine. We've had it for about 3 months, watching 2 or 3 Netflix movies a week, and no sign of trouble. Knock on wood.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Purchaser

Bought this for the father in law. A simple DVD player. It seems alot of other customers have the same problem he has. When you turn it on a red light keeps blinking and nothing will allow you to power it up to play a dvd. GPX D1816 WIll never buy this product again and warning to any one who is looking. DONT BUY! CHEAPER is not always the answer.

Constantly breaking

I bought this as an inexpensive DVD player for my kid's room. I have had it for 7 months now. Thankfully , I bought a warranty for it, because I have had to replace it every 6 weeks -- literally. The screen goes fuzzy and makes a loud buzzing. (When this happened on my VCR, I just adjusted the tracking but, alas, technology has advanced to where I can no longer manually fix these things!) Customer service has been great about replacing it according to the terms of my warranty but I am tired of replacing it. I have now spent more in gas going back and forth to Sears as I paid for the thing in the first place.

Full of Bugs

It works fine 70% of the time, and the features are great when they do work, but it's a surprisingly buggy product. I've just had it for a few weeks, and already it's had problems fast forwarding, has shut itself off in the middle of playback, has occasionally failed skipping chapters, and regularly failed to respond to the remote with fresh batteries at 8' within a 15 degree arc.
