    Excellent Burp Clothes! September 13, 2010

    I have no experience using these for diapers, however they are the best burp clothes that we have purchased. We received many burp clothes for the baby shower and all of them were the ones with designs that are all very thin. I ended up purchasing these when my son was a couple weeks old because it seemed like I was going through 10 of the designer ones a day. I love these as burp clothes, they are so absorbent and outlast anything else we have tried.

    Great for burp clothes - not diapers March 23, 2011

    We ended up using these as burp cloths. If that is your intended use then I'd give them a 5. However, if you are planning on using these as cloth diapers with a cover then they do not work well at all. They are very thin and do not ware well after tons of washes (get even thinner). However they do work great for cleaning up messes and wipping spit-up.

    My mother actually uses these to make burp cloths out of. She buys the scrap pieces of fabric from fabric shops and sews them to one side of the burp cloth. You can use the diaper as a great burp cloth because it's so soft, but dressing it up a little makes it so cute. They really hold up!

    Gerber White Flat Fold Birdsey Cloth Diapers offered in a four pack are awesome.  Soft and durable, lasting for many years.  Advantage of not having to keep buying disposable diapers which are harmful to our planet.

    Moreso, cloth diapers are better for the baby!  Their skin can breathe, but best of all--you can see immediately when your little one is wet.  Therefore, much less diaper rashes.  Additionally, you can time baby from waking to wetting diaper and know pretty close what their cycle is.  Believe it or not...this knowledge makes potty training much easier when the time comes. 

    Love all Gerber products, but especially these diapers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    i used disposable diapers when we were out, but at home, i'd cloth diaper... i was a cloth baby too, so i wanted to do it w/ my baby.  these were okay when she was small but sometimes, i would double up because these were kind of thin. i use a few different kinds, and these were not as absorbent or thick as others. but you will find other uses too, like burping, wash cloth etc... so not a waste @ all.  also better for the environment. a disposable diaper takes 50 years to break down.
