They are putting up with a LOT
I work for a secure facility that does not allow residents to have shoe laces. The price of the sneakers we were purchasing just kept rising and ultimately it was no longer fiscally responsible to purchase. Our residents like that they are a wider width and can comfortably size down to a narrower foot if needed. (The previous sneaker ran very narrow and we constantly were purchasing Wide Width) While black velcro style sneakers aren't generally considered "stylish" these are not as ugly as most can be. They do have a very athletic look which is a plus. So far, they have held up well with our residents that wear the same shoe day in and day out for months on end. They play volleyball, football, basketball and more in these sneakers and so far have held up pretty well. Our main concern is that this item/style will likely be discontinued next fashion season and we'll have to resume our search for the one-size fits all black velcro sneaker.
I would recommend this product to a friend.
