This is the most awful futon anyone could possibly purchase. I bought this for my grandson who is 6'3 and growing. This sits way down on the floor and looks like a kiddy sofa. The seating is so hard it hurts when you sit. He looks like a giant when sitting on it with his legs in his chest.

Hardest futon in the world.
This is a complete waste of money. It's hard and extremely uncomfortable, even as a sofa. I slept on it one night, and discovered this metal bar thing going right through the middle! I woke up with the worst back pain. Also, even though I'm only 5'5" my feet hang off a few inches! The material feels very cheap, and I wouldn't trust it with my cat walking on it all the time. It catches every piece of lint. The picture looks very comfy and cushy, but in reality it's hard as a rock. I will be packing it back up and returning it today. Don't waste your money.

Great for the price!
I wish I had not let the bad reviews on this futon scare me away for so long. I finally decided to go for it and I am not disappointed for the price. If I paid $300 I might be disappointed, but this was a great deal. If you can handle tent camping I think you can handle sleeping on this futon. Just throw a mattress topper on it if you need to. It's cute looking. I am 125lbs and in my early 30's if that helps anyone. I have had it for over one month now and slept on it most of those nights (a bit of back pain sometimes). I managed to fit this somewhat awkwardly in my SUV(for a very short trip) and drug it into my house by myself. Don't expect luxury, but if this is your budget don't be afraid. :)

Cruz Futon works perfectly!
I bought this for my boy's playroom and so I would have a guest bed for overnight visitors. The futon sits low to the ground and is quite small - perfect for the small space. The boys use it for playing and it is fine for an overnight guest. I wouldn't recommend this as your only sleeping option - it's fine for a night or two. For the price I am extremely happy!

Good for temporary use
So i bought this futon for my apartment since i didnt/dont have a ton of space and its low enough to the ground that my lil girl was able to learn how to climb up on it on her own. BUT must tell you, i've had it for barely over 3months and its starting to fall apart. Starting to feel the springs inside the seat, stitching on where you sit is starting to get a lil loose (i have to make sure each day that it hasn't come undone since dont want my daughter messing with it if it does/has). And is very uncomfortable to sleep on (when needing to use it for a nap or a night). This would be fine as a temopary place holder or as just extra seating in a office/spare room where it WON'T get used a lot.
