awesome closet organizer for shoes
This was a great addition to my closet! It holds a lot of shoes and has done wonders to making the bottom of my closet look neat and together. Most all of my woman's shoes have been able to fit into 1 cubby (2 shoes) but most of my husbands shoes need to use 1 space for each shoe, since the cubby holes are a little tight to put 2 men's shoes into 1 (he says his shoes get a little bent up if I do that). Otherwise, it is a great organizer. And Kmart had the best price for that amount of storage.

25-Pair Shoe Organizer Appears Nice, but beware...
I was really hoping this shoe organizer would 'match' the one I already have. After reading one of the earlier reviews, I was concerned this would be one of those things that looks great in the picture, but disappoints when received.
When the UPS driver delivered the three I ordered, I was excited because they were heavy. They are not from the same company as my original one, and the quality is lacking. If you make a mistake in putting them together as I did, you'll strip the pre-drilled holes and the screws will spin. In two cases, the particle board-type wood cracked when the screw went in. The finish isn't carried throughout, so when you look at the top you can see brown inside the top row of cubbies unless you reverse the top. If you reversed it so the interior of the cubby was white, then the top of the organizer would be brown. I did like the way the back piece was designed though. Instead of the usual tri-folded very thin particle board joined with tape and then hammered on with small nails, this organizer has two substantial pieces that join with a plastic seam and then has small screws to scw in place. Too bad that level of quality wasn't carried throughout. I'm returning two of them to my local store.
Overall, these are heavy in weight but light in quality.

The organizer does well for laundry rooms and closets.
It was just what I was looking for. Something to hold lots of shoes so my kids could put them away and find them themselves. Its very light, and not quality built furniture, but I expected that and use in my laundry room instead of a box of shoes we had to sift through. If the cubbies were a bit larger it would be perfect, but then again the unit would be larger.The only problem is for men shoes, (sneakers especially), the cubbies are too small, but with 25 compartments, we can just put one shoe in each. And its not our entire collection of shoes in the laundry room...just a few pairs that we use alot. So its good for that.
I would recommend this product to a friend.
